Legends of Music
Credit to Rodney Belcher for "Never Alone"

This is a tribute to Michael Jackson. He is the main reason why I started singing and dancing on stage. I was so envious of him..hehe because he has all the things that I've always wanted as a kid (tree house, monkey, Never never land, etc). And I share the same dream he has, to never grow up. When I was a child, I didn't like grown ups cause they're too serious, they judge people, they betray, they do bad things, etc. I wished, and still do till now, that I would never grow up (something like Peter Pan). My first Michael Jackson song that I heard when I was a child was "Ben". Now that he's gone, it feels like I've lost a part of my childhood. But I know that he's in heaven and having an awesome time (no tabloids, no betrayals, no pain). We will miss you Michael and the love you have shown throughout your life will always be remembered in our hearts forever. God Bless you. :floating:

And also god bless Sammy Davis jr, James Brown, Elvis Presley, Luthor Vandross, Nat King Cole and John Lennon for all the great times and memories.

The legends that are friends of Michael and that have been an important part in Michael Jackson's life:

1) Sammy Davis Jr: Jackson's live rendition of "You Were There" at Sammy Davis Jr.'s 60th birthday celebration received an Emmy nomination.

2) James Brown: In 1966, Jackson 5 won a major local talent show with renditions of Motown hits and James Brown's "I Got You (I Feel Good)", led by Michael. Following the death of James Brown, Jackson returned to the U.S. to pay his respects. He, along with more than 8,000 people, paid tribute during Brown's public funeral on December 30, 2006.
